A Gathering in the Spirit of Ubuntu

This is a gathering for those who feel called to help lift the prayer for the Spirit of Ubuntu in our world.

The day’s work brings together the sacred purification and prayer ritual of the Sweatlodge (Temazcal) tradition of Mesoamerica with the indigenous African practices of prayer through drumming, song, and dance.

The songs shared in the lodge and the dances around the sacred fire are traditional practices carried through authentic ancient spiritual lineages.

Your Facilitators:

Jubee @origins_wellness

-After 12 years of study Jubee completed his vision quest to receive the blessing of Pipe Carrier and to pour the Temazcal from Sacred Fire of Itzachilatlan
In 2024 Jubee Completed his Twasa process as a Sangoma with the Seswati people.

Ylinel @melodicmoonrise

-Sound healing practitioner who has studied the Temazcal tradition and cosmovision through the Atlachinolli Association for Traditional Medicine, Alternative and Holistic Therapies.
-Has also learned through oral tradition while participating in Temazcal ceremonies in Mexico.

Luyolo Lengisi

-Is a passionate conveyor of his Xhosa culture and traditional African spirituality. Growing up with traditional African ceremonies Lengz and his team of young Sanghomas will be presenting to facilitate, guide and share there incredible vibes with us.
