Description
My first shamanic bodywork experience was 8 hrs long, somewhere in the middle I went into a spontaneous rebirthing experience, it was ground shaking and transporting in terms of how it allowed me to access aspects of myself that were lost to me through my body and through my breath.
During the process of completing advanced training I met Mal who I understudied for more than a year learning Tantric Emotional Detox Bodywork, the process challenged my deepest wounds and taught me empirically the connection between the psyche and the body and between our sexual nature and the sacred heart.
After a while the two naturally came together along with connective tissue release techniques I’ve gained in further training.
Years of practice from the perspective of tantra, from the perspective of shamanic bodywork and connective tissue release principles have shaped how I work into a bodywork process that gets intimately involved with the body while maintaining a refined professional boundary.
Perhaps not 8 hours, 3 hours though go a long way to creating significant change very physically, and very clearly in our mental and emotional worlds, profoundly effecting our perspectives and choices.
I work by displacing the tissue with my body and my breath, moving and kneading and leaning into the body without shying of it, sometimes waiting with deep pressure, rhythmically and assertively encouraging the body to give up what it has been holding onto.
