In this Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed masterclass, you'll get to know the part of you that needs to figure everything out, understand what it might be protecting you from, and explore how to relate to it differently so you can find more clarity, ease and trust in yourself.
Tell me if you recognise this…
You replay a conversation with your partner, wondering whether you said the right thing, what they meant by that comment, and whether there's something you need to do to make things right.
You have an important decision to make. So you research, make lists, weigh up the pros and cons, ask your friends, perhaps even ask ChatGPT…
And somehow, you end up with MORE questions than you started with.
Or perhaps you find yourself:
What if I've missed something? What if it doesn't work out? What if I regret this?
It's exhausting.
Especially when you're a thoughtful, self-aware person who's already spent a LOT of time understanding yourself and trying to make good decisions.
You might even know exactly why you overthink. But knowing that doesn't necessarily stop your mind from doing it.
— What if overthinking isn't the problem? —
What if the part of you that analyses everything is actually trying to help?
Maybe it believes that anticipating every outcome will prevent you from being caught off guard. That figuring out what someone else is thinking will protect you from rejection. Or that finding the perfect answer will save you from making a mistake you'll regret.
From an Internal Family Systems perspective, the part of you that overthinks may be working VERY hard to protect you.
And it might have been doing this job for a long time.
So when you tell yourself to stop thinking or just relax, that part may have a very good reason not to listen.
What if, instead of trying to stop the thinking, you got to know the part that's doing it?
There's a difference between thinking ABOUT a part and getting to know it.
You might have spent years analysing your patterns. You understand your fear of rejection, your need for certainty and why you catastrophise.
But when your partner becomes distant, your boss sends an unexpected message or you face a difficult decision, you're right back inside the thinking.
Trying to work it out, to find an answer, to feel safe.
Instead of following every thought down another rabbit hole, you can get curious about the part generating them.
What is it afraid would happen if it stopped thinking? What does it need from you?
Something different becomes possible. As you develop a new relationship with this part, it may begin to relax, find balance and make more room for YOU to lead.

In our work together, you can:
No previous IFS experience needed.
What becomes possible when you don't have to figure EVERYTHING out?
Imagine having a difficult conversation without dissecting every word afterwards... Making a decision without asking five people for advice... Enjoying a quiet evening without your mind insisting there's something you haven't considered...
Thinking and planning are important. This work is about having more choice over when you use them.
In this masterclass, you can begin moving from replaying conversations, second-guessing yourself, constantly seeking reassurance and feeling exhausted by your own mind…
Towards understanding what your thinking part is worried about, making room for your feelings as well as your thoughts, and developing more trust in your ability to respond to whatever happens.
You don't have to know exactly how everything will turn out to begin trusting yourself.
— Who this is for —
This masterclass is for you if you:
This isn't a quick technique for switching off your thoughts or a way to find the perfect answer to every decision. It's an opportunity to explore what's driving the thinking and begin developing a different relationship with yourself.
