Nestled within the regenerative landscape of Boschendal Farm in the Cape Winelands, the Be Hive is a regenerative gathering space created by Be The Earth Foundation, an organisation exploring more conscious and connected ways of living, working and being.

Surrounded by mountains, forest, gardens and open skies, the Be Hive offers a different kind of setting for bringing people together. It’s a place where conversations can deepen, creativity can flow and experiences can unfold at a slower, more intentional pace.

The space is available to facilitators, practitioners, creatives, educators, organisations and community builders looking for a beautiful, nature-connected home for their work.

Our studio space, the Hive’s Heart is a light-filled, flexible event and workshop space that can accommodate groups of up to 80 people, with the surrounding landscape offering plenty of opportunity to take your gathering outdoors and into nature.

Our signature seasonal organic catering is rooted in the land around us, with fresh vegetables and herbs coming directly from our adjacent Food Forest — a living permaculture pilot project. We complement this with artisanal, locally made produce from Boschendal Farm, creating a nourishing forest-to-fork experience for your gathering. Guests can also be invited to take part in a conscious harvest walk, connecting with the land, the food and the living systems that sustain them.

There’s something about stepping out of the everyday and into a place surrounded by living systems. At the Be Hive, we invite facilitators to use that quality of place as part of the experience they create — whether that means gathering around a circle, moving beneath the trees, making something with your hands, sharing a meal or simply creating space to pause.
