The Temple of Venus is a curated space for curious adults to step outside of the ordinary and into the mystery. Through sensual, playful, embodied experiences, we'll explore pleasure, desire, intimacy, connection, ritual and the body - with plenty of room for laughter, play curiosity and the unexpected!

Inspired by the ancient relationship between the sacred and the sensual, The Temple of Venus takes its name from  Aphrodite, Goddess of love, beauty, desire and pleasure. Across ancient cultures, temples were places of ritual, healing, offering and connection with the divine. In various pagan traditions, the body, desire and Eros were understood as powerful forces of life and pathways towards the sacred.

Our evenings are themed, intentionally curated, trauma-informed and consent-led. You might be invited into movement, sensory exploration, playful interaction, ritual, connection or other forms of embodied practice. Some themes may be gentle and tender; others may be cheeky, provocative or deliciously edgy.....

There is no expectation to participate in anything that doesn't feel right.

Everything is an invitation. The choice is always yours.

The Temple of Venus is not therapy, and it isn't about fixing or healing you. It is a space to explore what happens when we approach pleasure with curiosity rather than shame - and when we give ourselves permission to be more fully in our bodies and remember that we are whole and perfect just as we are.

The Temple is held by Celeste, a Jungian-trained counsellor and Trauma-Informed Temple Facilitator trained with the Sensual Arts School. Her approach weaves together embodiment, ritual, archetype, sensual exploration and playfulness. She takes immense pleasure in creating each Temple as a unique, fun experience.
