Culturing trust and relaxation with yourself:
The yoga I’ll be offering is a tridosha balancing series. This practice is one that cultures the Alaya Vijnana – the eternal unfolding of consciousness at the foundational level – the subtle.
This is a prana-based system; we are not working with the muscles of the body nor intending to stretch the body open. It is through the asanas that we culture relaxation so deep that it works into every cell of the body. It is only through prana flowing through the whole that flexibility and strength come naturally and more effortlessly.
We repeat the series so that the subconscious can relax, and through this, we can notice where our patterns of strain and fighting with ourselves come from.
When we can learn to relax as a pattern, we cultivate harmony and bliss through the body, and this is a state that permeates into all other areas of our lives.
