Once upon a time, women were revered as life-givers, nurturing beings who watched life flourish like a seed into a tree. Our nature was warm, open, and nurturing. We were embraced as both gentle breezes and powerful storms, soft yet wild. Yet, over time, we’ve lost parts of ourselves. Many of us, often the family matriarchs, feel lost and alone, hoping for better days.

Where are the sacred spaces for free expression without judgment or shame? Where are the wise old women who shared their herbal knowledge as we gathered plants?

In response to what has been holding us back, we women have suppressed our compassionate, caring, and loving natures. How does one battle the demands of today’s world in a goddess dress? We traded flowing gowns for power suits and stilettos, filling our days with board meetings and domestic duties. Lost in this endless cycle, we've forgotten our inner radiance.

We are waking up, and within us stirs a wild energy.

But caught in the demands of life, we lack time and space to explore this new power.

The Sisterhood of The Rose is a sanctuary where we can blossom together in safety and acceptance. We shed our outer armour for bare feet and the earth's embrace. Through shared stories, wisdom, and ancient rituals, we rediscover our inherent worth, be we gentle breeze or fierce storm. We cultivate inner gardens to carry with us always.

Our sisterhood offers retreats and workshops where we shed masks and power suits, embracing our true power and beauty.

Find us next at Happy Fayre Weekend Festival, 1st to 3rd November 2024, at Greenlands Farm, R60 between Ashton and Swellendam, Bonnievale. We’ll be offering a workshop for women called “Moon Whispers - Reclaiming, Reflecting & Voicing Our Collective Wisdom”.

We will take time to connect to ourselves and each other, sharing stories and exploring the wisdom within us so that we leave a little lighter, more alive and ready to bloom.
