What IS Biodanza?
Biodanza is a weekly conscious dance class that has the potential to change our experience of life. Using music, dance and the group it promoted health by encouraging self-expression. The dances create an integrative living experience (vivencia) that stimulates human development and growth. The structure of the class also encourages psycho-physiological self-organisation which mobilises our innate powers for self-healing.

Who does Biodanza?
Anyone who loves to dance freely – there are no dance steps to follow.
People who want more out of life – to experience themselves deeply and discover what their heart truly desires.
Communities that enjoy deeper social contact – finding authentic relationships with others.
Those wanting to live more from their hearts rather than their head – experiencing more beautiful connections to everything.

What to expect in a typical class?
The session begins with a short intro to welcome everyone.
This is followed by beautiful music and dances based on natural movements which begin to lift the mood and amplify our vital life force. There are no steps to learn – the only requirement being to let go into the joy and pleasure of movement. Each dance is demonstrated by the facilitator to offer a model and guidance – no need to have prior dancing experience.
The class is a journey of integration and after connecting with the euphoria of life, and ends quietly in a mood of peace and harmony.
