“the sex ed you never got”

Event date22 Nov 26 - 22 Nov 26
- Direct message
Would you like a safely held space to simply explore your sexuality?
Do you sense that more pleasure and joy is available to you than you're currently living?
Are you someone who sees sexuality as an ongoing invitation to learn and grow, rather than something fixed?
Then this day is for you.
What this day is:
This is a low-pressure way to get a real feel for Sexological Bodywork before deciding whether the full Sexological Bodywork Training is right for you. You don't need to commit to a full training to find out what this work actually is. One day might be enough to know.
Over the day, we'll:
There's no pressure to sign up for anything at the end. Some people come purely for the day itself. Others come to test the waters before the bigger commitment. Both are welcome.
The practice: Self-Empowerment Bodywork
In Self-Empowerment Bodywork, you give the practitioner instructions on how you'd like to be touched. You decide, moment to moment, which touch you want to receive. Passive receiving, which often means enduring or tolerating rather than choosing, turns into actively co-determining what happens to you. This slows everything down and opens space for sensing and feeling.
The aim isn't the touch itself. It's the experience of choice.
Facilitators
Simon Heller & Kate Gardy
Simon is a certified Sexological Bodyworker and Somatic Sex Educator, a teacher at the International Institute of Sexological Bodywork, and Founder/Partner of Touched South Africa. Kate co-facilitates and is Founder/Partner of Touched South Africa.
If you decide to join the full training afterwards, R1000 of what you paid for this day is credited toward it.
Before you join: prerequisites & things to know
This workshop welcomes adults (18+) who are open to consensual nudity, full-body touch (including natural, goalless intimate contact), and sensual energy exploration, held in a professional, non-sexual container. A basic interest in intuitive touch or body-based practices helps, along with a willingness to stay present with whatever arises.
You're welcome to attend with a partner you already feel comfortable with. If you're coming solo, we'll thoughtfully pair you with another participant on the day. Openness to practicing with people of any gender is required.
The process builds gradually through movement, oil, and attuned touch, and can open the door to deep relaxation, sensory expansion, and unexpected emotional release. We hold the space with care, so you feel supported throughout.
If you're unsure whether this is right for you, reach out. We're happy to talk it through together or join one of our Online Info Evenings.
Spaces are limited. Early registration is encouraged.
Much love
