We are thrilled to welcome back international performers HenRigger and Rose from RopeSpace Copenhagen for a unique rope and water performance that is sure to captivate the audience. The evening will begin with an opening performance by Sudo and FireLily from Embodiment, creating a powerful and immersive lead-in to this exceptional showcase. We don't often get treated to international Shibari practitioners visiting our shores, so make sure not to miss this one.
After the performances we will open up the space to hangout, connect and tie, until around midnight.
Embodiment Rope Space is a not-for-profit venue dedicated to exploring the erotic art of consensual restriction known as Shibari / Kinbaku / Bondage / Rope Work. We are a safe(r) space where informed consent, communication and care are paramount.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE NIGHT
Local Kinbaku practitioners Sudo (he/they) and FireLily (she/her) will open the performance evening with a play session, incorporating tease, sensual torment and Hashira (column) suspension.
After a short break, our international performers HenRigger (he/him) and Rose (she/her) will delight us all with a display in intensity, playfulness and water bondage in a strenuous and dynamic suspension. We are truly excited to have these practitioners share with us! This is a rare treat!
After the performance, join us for a free-tying space and hangout, for community and connection. Feel free to approach the performers with any curiosities or questions once they have completed their aftercare.
Events start promptly at 19:00. Please DM us via Instagram if you are running late. Doors are open from 18:00 for socialising and Beerworks will be open for pizza orders before the event starts. Doors will be closed at 19:05 sharp. We will be strict about this. Please have your tickets ready to be scanned on arrival.
Embodiment Rope Space is a welcoming and safe(r) space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. We practice rope communally and host occasional workshops for upskilling the community. Rope is never safe, there are only ways to do it more safely.

HenRigger and Rose
With over 15 years of dedicated learning and experience between them, HenRigger and Rose have been rope, kink and BDSM partners together for over 6 years.
Through this journey of deep connection and adventure, they have explored a wide variety of kinks and BDSM practices, always maintaining a focus on their love of rope at the core.
They have developed their own non-dogmatic approach to tying, built on years of classical shibari and kinbaku education as a foundation, and a deep trust of each other. Their personal style ranges from intense semenawa, shame and kink play through to extreme shapes and artistic-athletic endurance.
From weekly classes at the Copenhagen Shibari Dojo under Yukinaga Max, workshops and classes by incredible experts such as Naka Akira, Kinoko, Gorgone, Akechi Kanna, Anatomie, RopuNawa, Tori, Alexander Ma & Natasha Nawataneko, alongside taking classes and teaching at the Kinbaku Lounge - they are now educating others from beginner to advanced.
Since 2025, they have also been integral volunteers at the new rope education and play venue: RopeSpace Copenhagen. They offer a range of workshops with deep-dives into shibari / kinbaku themes and techniques, plus specific topics such as impact play, needles, medical play, water and breath play, electrical play, pet play and hot wax play.
They love to share the joy of rope, kink and BDSM with others and have performed together countless times. Stages have ranged from large exhibitions such as Erotic World and Manifest, through to showcases at the Kinbaku Lounge and intimate private events. They adapt their style to the wishes of the audience, and feel great joy from sharing these moments with others - actively involving the onlookers in the moments and emotions.

Sudo and FireLily
Sudo has been a student of kinbaku for many years, and has been practising mainly semenawa for the last five years. He has studied widely – at Copenhagen Shibari Dojo with Yukinaga Max and in Berlin with Tamandua. He is part of Akechi Kanna’s study group and is a student of Naka Akira. He runs the private Cape Kinbaku Salon together with his wife FireLily. At Embodiment Sudo helps with teaching, curriculum R&D and sessions, as well as developing the physical space.

FireLily is a rope bottom with deep experience in different styles of bondage and a rich insight into the psychology of rope. She enjoys exploring the opportunity for creative expression that rope offers; from the collaborative start in learning how to tie to image making in all its forms. She enjoys creative collaboration with fellow rope enthusiasts. She dreams of publishing limited edition hand bound Kinbaku art books. FireLily together with her partner Sudo runs Cape Kinbaku Salon. At Embodiment she teaches as Sudo’s tying partner, in bottom education development and is involved in the development of the physical space.

RULES
1. Don’t be late.
2. Respect the space. Leave no trace - whatever you bring, take it back with you.
3. Ego has no place here. Learn and share with humility.
4. Ask for people’s pronouns and use the ones you are given.
5. No shoes. Keep underwear on at public events. Nipples may be free.
6. Do not make unsolicited comments about anyone else's body.
7. Do not take any photos of anyone in attendance without consent.
8. Do not post photos without the consent of EVERYONE in the photo.
9. Do not reveal the identity of anyone you meet in the space once you leave. Many people prefer anonymity.
10. Be mindful of making noise in the space when others are tying around you, this includes loud talking and laughing.
11. Be discrete when moving through other parts of the premises. Clothes are optional in the space but not outside the door.
12. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell.
13. Please do not use any recreational drugs before coming or while on site.
Since this is a performance evening, we have additional rules in place to ensure that the flow of the performances and the performers themselves are not disrupted. From 19:00 in addition to the above, please abide by the following:
1. Don't be late for performances. Be respectful to the performers
2. Be mindful of making noise in the space during performances, this includes loud talking and laughing. Take jokes outside.
3. Give performers space during the 15 minutes following the performance. After this, you may approach them to discuss the performance - unless stated otherwise on the night. Get their consent before engaging with them.
4. No photography of performances will be permitted other than by the designated event photographer.
Note on accessibility:
We believe rope is for every body. At the same time the building we are currently occupying does not allow for wheelchair access to ground floor ablution facilities. This is an ongoing negotiation with the current landlords. The space itself accommodates wheelchair access.
