✨ Inside the Workshop
This immersive one-day workshop is dedicated to exploring and experiencing Taoist Erotic Massage (TEM) – a high-energy, transformative practice from Sexological Bodywork that has the potential to reconnect you with your innate vitality, your sexual energy, and the profound primal force of your being. Through TEM, we bring this inner power into authentic, embodied expression, cultivating a vibrant sense of presence and aliveness.
At the heart of TEM is intense, rhythmic breathing, which upregulates energy, floods the body with oxygen to intensify sensations, and awakens erotic potential. Think of it as a breathwork, movement, sound and touch session combined. Originally developed by Joseph Kramer, founder of Sexological Bodywork, this method has been described as "the LSD of sexuality", with the potential to evoke ecstatic, trance-like states through dynamic, energised body activation.
TEM is not a traditional massage where the receiver passively accepts touch. Instead, it is an active, full-bodied exploration of your body’s expansive expression, where you consciously upregulate your energy into heightened states. As the receiver, you choreograph your own experience, inviting touch from the giver, while engaging breath, movement, voice, and self-touch. When you allow yourself to fully surrender, the experience can open into heightened states of energy – sometimes erotic, ecstatic, or trance-like.
As the giver, your role is one of accompaniment: fully present, you support the receiver’s experience with whole-body touch, including genital touch if desired, amplifying resonance and flow. You intuitively attune to and support the energy of the receiver, mirroring it through touch and holding space for their journey.
During this workshop, each participant will get to experience both roles once – one time as giver and one time as receiver.
We approach TEM with a trauma-sensitive mindset, recognising that these intense processes can trigger deep releases and activate the autonomic nervous system in heightened states of arousal or trance. Our priority is creating a safe, contained space where you feel supported, held and resourced, allowing full presence and uninhibited immersion.
By the end of the day, you will have learned how to:
- Activate and build energy in your body – including sexual energy – through intensified breath, movement, sound and touch.
- Expand your capacity to hold and integrate greater vitality, presence, and authentic expression.
- Self-regulate your sexuality, empowering you to actively harness your physical and energetic potential.
- Explore and enjoy a spectrum of energetic states – from arousal to trance to ecstatic flow – with awareness and choice.
- Refine your resonance with others in an accompanying role, and offer supportive touch with sensitivity and integrity.
📆 Workshop Schedule
Morning (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM):
We begin with playful exercises to arrive in the body, build connection, and get to know one another. This flows into a theoretical introduction to the essence of TEM, followed by learning and practising key breath techniques that we'll apply later.
Lunch Break (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
Afternoon (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM):
Dive into the heart of the experience: guided Taoist Erotic Massage sessions. You'll embody both roles – once as the active receiver, exploring your expressive journey, and once as the accompanying giver, offering resonant support. Selected music will accompany and inspire your process, enhancing the flow of the practice.
The day ends with integration time, sharing insights together in a closing circle.
🔥 Before You Join: Prerequisites & Important Considerations
This space is open to adults (18+) who consent to nudity, touch, and the exploration of erotic energy within a non-sexual, professionally held container. Previous experience with group work involving sexuality or body-based practices is required, along with a willingness to meet somatic intensity with curiosity and awareness.
We encourage you to sign up with someone you know and feel comfortable practising with. If you come solo, we’ll pair you with another solo participant on the day – and we ask that you are open to partnering with people of any sex and gender.
This immersive experience gradually builds energetic intensity through breath, movement, and sound – inviting you into expanded, expressive states. The process can be powerful and deeply moving. For those who are highly sensitive or find it challenging to surrender control in dynamic group settings, the experience may feel intense or even overwhelming at times. That said, we strive to hold these spaces with great care and provide steady support so that every participant feels guided and resourced throughout.
