Description
Let me introduce myself.
I am a seeker of radical self-expression. Be it in art or in living life.
Originally from The Netherlands, I landed in South Africa a decade ago and never left, having fallen in love with its people, its landscapes, nature and attitude towards that much desired self-expression.
I embarked on the road of tantra and found the flavour prevalent here much more to my taste than what I saw elsewhere, in Europe in particular. Arriving at this understanding has come slow, but steady. For me a historic approach in the teachings overrides the neo-tantric way of placing sexuality first. I learned from great local and international facilitators that emphasis on the original practices in the East feeds the soul before the body.
In that context I offer an experience where art meets sexuality: a series of Naked Poetry events, where people can be without clothes while reciting or listening to poetry, their own works or by poets near and far, in any language.
On a one-on-one basis I offer massages, tantric or Kashmiri in my lovely session space. Please enquire when you wish to learn more about it or go to my website. The session space is available for other practitioners and therapists. See the space listing.
Being a retired engineer who has had a life-long career in the science of astronomy I have a deep understanding of what goes on in the universe, the physics, the observations and how to interpret them. I have offered talks on that topic.
Photography is one of my passions. Mostly landscapes and nature, but also occasional portrait and architecture subjects. Check out this link for a peek of my work: https://www.flickr.com/photos/robmillenaar/ (for big camera photos), or visit my Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/robmillenaar/ (for iPhone pics).
When I find the time I dive into literature, novels, poetry and scientific. And I love hiking in nature, and travelling the world.
Obviously I'm a member of S.O.L.O.
That should do as an introduction...

Exposure to poetry- whether reading, reciting or listening- in a clothing optional environment- reduces layers and barriers and enables open and honest engagement. I have met wonderful people and always appreciate Rob’s care and mindful facilitation.
