Description
Poetry is an ancient art that over time never lost its appeal to those who love the often minimalistic nature of playing with words, cadence and rhyme, yet conveying thoughts, meaning and counsel to those reading or reciting.
A beautiful way of enjoying poetry is experiencing it in our own minimalistic way of being without the outer layers that hide our true selves: In the nude. Pealing off our masks in vulnerability, and allowing us to be witnessed in close and safe conversation with others, feeds the soul. Also there's the aspect of finding the courage to overcome inhibitions to be naked or reading poetry, that can trickle down to other areas of our lives. Poems show the beauty and rhythm of words; our bodies tell a similar story of our lives. Both aspects of our humanity are merged in a wonderful way.
The setting is private, comfy, relaxed and safe. We enjoy the words of wisdom, anger or fear, love and humankind(ness).
Nakedness is encouraged, but will not be required. In the company of others who are naked it is easier to let go of shame or fear; there is no better way of showing and appreciating body-positivity. This is a non-sexual event!
