Description
AmoRitmo is more than a dance event; it’s an opportunity to open hearts and celebrate being human.
Born in Berlin, raised in Zurich, and now ready to travel to Cape Town!
The focus is on a playful, exploratory and curious atmosphere that is characterised by respect and personal responsibility. With a clear structure that leaves plenty of room for freedom, this event invites you to playfully encounter yourself and others through dance, conscious touch and creativity. Whether experienced or not, AmoRitmo welcomes everyone to embark on this journey of all the senses.
OUR VALUES
The focus at AmoRitmo is on dancing, but since the event offers much more, you can also experience the range of your sensuality. The following directions help us to create a common framework to guide us. This opens up a learning field to embody these values more and more and integrate them into our lives.
Dancing
We dance barefoot and without choreography or instruction. Everyone is encouraged to express themselves as feels right, with respect for the boundaries of others. The “Soloverse” is an area of the dancefloor that is specially allocated to dancing alone and completely undisturbed.
Consent
We clearly communicate our boundaries and invite you to do the same with your wishes. The event also offers the opportunity to experience the spectrum of your sensuality. We celebrate Eros as a life force, but we do not specifically fuel our sexual energy or direct it towards a certain goal. Sexual penetration is not permitted at these events.
Care
We move mindfully and consciously in a shared space. We practise self-care and personal responsibility. We are willing and able to ask for support when we need it.
Presence
We practise presence and devotion. Together, we create a non-judgemental and expectation-free space. We are mindful of the energy with which we approach others, encouraging a “natural” flow to arise between us.
Don’t expect a dating platform
AmoRitmo is not about cultivating romantic connections. It’s about your own experience and integrity, which does not exclude the possibility of making new acquaintances as a result.
No recording of images or sound, no phones in the space
